Tri newbie! - 4/9/2006 : "Crap.....long swim, no way that was a 0.75 meter swim it was moe like 1-1.3 K. Much longer than Wildman three weeks a go. Got a flat tire aout 4 miles into the ride leg, at that point I ws averaging 25-26 mph pace, got the tire changed and decided just to kick back a bit and enjoy the rest. The run i also ran slower than my normal pace...about a 8 min/mile. Ran with a guy named Clif...we were just gapping away. Total time was about 1:20 ish I think. I had fun, and I guess that is all that matters. I'll do my race report when I get my times emailed to me later."
